Over the past few years, we’ve seen an exciting shift in how people in Cameroon and across Africa interact with digital commerce. But the journey is still just beginning — and at One Market, we’re building more than an online store. We’re building a movement that empowers buyers and sellers, removes friction from everyday commerce, and reshapes trust in digital transactions.

🚀 The Vision

At One Market, we’re on a mission to simplify e-commerce in a way that feels local, trustworthy, and accessible to everyone. That means not just building an app — but creating an ecosystem where small businesses thrive, customers feel confident in every purchase, and digital convenience becomes the norm, not the exception.

We know the challenges:

  • Vendors often lack visibility.

  • Customers are tired of inconsistent prices and scams.

  • Delivery logistics can be unreliable.

  • And technology feels out of reach for many.

We’re addressing these issues one step at a time — with real people, real feedback, and real innovation.

🛠️ Where We Are Today

The One Market apps are live and available to users. While we’re yet to launch officially, our early community is growing steadily, and we’re taking every moment to listen, improve, and iterate.

From Douala to Buea, we’re running pilots, onboarding vendors, and building relationships that go beyond transactions. We’ve also designed a smooth offboarding experience — yes, even account deletion is simple and transparent. Because whether you’re switching to a vendor account or stepping away, we believe in putting people first.

🌍 Where We’re Headed

Here’s what’s ahead:

  • Vendor-first tools: Better dashboards, smarter inventory control, and affordable ad placements.

  • Smarter logistics: Integrated delivery logic and fair pricing for intra-city and inter-city orders.

  • Local-first expansion: Starting with urban hubs like Douala, while setting the foundation for scale.

  • Community commerce: Using WhatsApp groups, Facebook communities, and offline campaigns to connect with real users where they already are.

We’re dreaming big, but building smart. Step by step. Conversation by conversation.

💡 Why This Matters

E-commerce in Africa shouldn’t be a copy-paste from other regions. It should be built for us, by us  — reflecting the realities of our infrastructure, behaviors, and opportunities.

If you’re a vendor looking to grow your market reach, a customer tired of being scammed, or a partner who believes in building tech that works for the people — it’s time to talk.

This is just the beginning.

Let’s make the market work for everyone.
